The disruption to in-person learning is one great way the education system has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. This move has helped us uncover the truths about what is essential in the classroom and what is not, as students and educators tested out many ways to keep the learning going on.
The transition was not an easy one, and many educators struggled to keep up with the pace. Even now, many educators are frustrated and can not keep up with hybrid learning (a combination of physical and online learning).
While the pandemic threw us all into a bit of confusion, it has also taught us a lot and brought the future of learning closer. If we examine what we are teaching and how we are teaching it, rather than when and where we are teaching, we will see that the pandemic has revealed possibilities we had not considered before.
We have learned a lot by going remote, but we could improve our teaching much more if we embrace virtual learning. While many educators are wishing that classes become fully physical, extraordinary educators are already mastering virtual teaching strategies.
In this course created by Deborah Osomo (The Purposeful Educator), you will learn more about virtual teaching, the three steps you need to take to build a strong foundation for virtual teaching, why they are important, and how you can integrate them into your own teaching style.
This course is divided into three modules and you will also be given a 33- paged workbook to help you guide your learning and bring your ideas to life.
This course is FREE, but you also have the option to earn a certificate for this course after completion of the course.
